Bloom's Taxanomic Level: Understanding
Activity 2 – Blog Journaling using Blogger

1. In your group, decide on the labels and values of the x and y axes.
2. Write a paragraph interpreting the information conveyed by the graph. One group member will key in the group’s response and publish it on the group’s blog (the facilitator will assign a blog to your group).
You can find more information about Singapore Tourism here

http://app.stb.gov.sg/asp/new/new03a.asp?id=2483
3. Access another group’s blog to read their interpretation. Using the rubrics given and using the comment feature, provide feedback on the group’s understanding of the concept of graphs.
Here are the blogs created by some of the Secondary and JC school teachers.
Example 1: Rectangle vs Square [2007: Annabel Ho, Pasir Ris Secondary]
Example 2: Rational & Irrational Numbers [2008: Lee Yilian, Anglican High School]
Example 3: Journal: The Mind Reader [2008: Tan Sek Jiau, Chung Cheng High (Main)] Example 4: Angle of Elevation [2008: Abdul Malek, Ping Yi Secondary]
Example 5: Kwok The Chem teacher [2007: Kwok, ACJC]

Some Maths questions for blog reflection to assess pupils' understanding of concepts:
Topic: Rhombus “A rhombus is not a square.” Is this statement true? Explain your answer. How are rhombuses and squares related?
Topic: Mean There are 5 people in a family and their mean age is 39 years. What might their ages be? Explain who the members of the family are.
